Zinnia seeds
Packet of 50 mixed zinnia seeds from my farm! The seeds are saved from the best flowers I have had growing this season. The pictures above are some examples of what I have saved from this year!
The zinnias range in height from 24-48β and range so many different colors and shapes.
Feel free to message me if you want to know specific varieties I have grown and saved from in the past :)
how to start zinnia seeds:
I start my zinnia seeds mainly inside! you can absolutely direct sow them outside under a bit of soil and that works wonderfully too :)
I always start my seeds either with the smaller soil blocks or in a 72 cell tray (individual pots also work) the roots do not love to be messed with too much so I definitely prefer the soil blocks to the tray, however both will work great! π I start them about 4-6 weeks before my last frost indoors and succession plant every week or two until June for a continuous harvest. if sowing into a soil block I just gently press the skinnier end of the seed down into the soil and leave it about half in half out of the dirt. it will push out all the way when the roots have grown. otherwise I will sow into a tray by making a small divet and covering with soil or vermiculite :)
