According to Southern Exposure Seed Exchange, The Yellow Potato onion has good drought resistance, pink root resistance, and is widely adapted for different growing regions, except Florida and southern Texas. These onions can be planted in the fall or spring and over the course of the growing season one bulb will multiply into several more.
