A new variety of Pink Crystals ornamental grass with an exotic look featuring very ornamental fluffy, dusky pink to deep red plumes on short stems over upright foliage. Provides interest from late summer into autumn. Grows 24-28” tall, doing best in full sun in well-draining soil that is low in fertilizer (as this can inhibit blooming). Water well during dry periods, as it needs regular water to bloom. ** Quantity Restrictions! Seed sowing instructions: Sow on the surface of a good seed-starting mix, in temperatures about 68-70 degrees F. Cover seed lightly with fine grit or seed starting mix and keep moist. Plant out after all danger of frost. Seed can also be sown directly in the garden where it is to grow after the last frost date in areas with a long growing season. *This frost sensitive grass should be overwintered in a container in a cool, frost-free, bright area.
