Perkins Long Pod Okra Seeds (Heirloom)

Perkins Long Pod Okra is an heirloom, open-pollinated okra variety that was developed in the late 1800s. This okra is early maturing and very productive. Plants have been noted to start producing pods at just 6″ tall. Plants will grow to 5′ tall and will be loaded with tender, delicious pods. Pods are bright green and will grow to 8″ long, but are best when harvested at 3-5″ long. Pods have pronounced long ends and are great for making pickled okra, canning and gumbo. 20 seeds.
