Up for auction is one pack of 10 Chater's Double Mixed Color Hollyhock seeds (Alcea Rosea). Perfect for summer blooms these hollyhock create a spectacular double petaled flower in pink, red, yellow, and white on 60 stems. Very hardy in the garden and also make a great cut flower with a long vase life.

Can be sown from late spring through fall. Sow seeds on the surface of your garden bed and lightly dust with screened peat. Do not cover more than 1/8.

If starting in pots sow on the surface and dust with fine sand as they need light to germinate.

If started early enough they can flower the first year but in most cases they will flower the second year.
