At 20,000 SHU (Scolville heat units), these peppers are extremely similar in taste to a typical cayenne, just a little less spicy. And much more delicious, in my opinion.  This was the 2012 All America Selections winner.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMy absolute favorite way to use them is to put them on the smoker for 12 or so hours to infuse them with smoke flavor.  Then I grind them in a coffee grinder with sea salt and garlic powder.  I put that combination in a shaker and it's delicious on EVERYTHING.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThese will also make an EXCELLENT hot sauce.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe plants themselves are really great.
